Once again Melbourne is ready to host! Of course the good people down-under are without college basketball, and without Foster Farms corndogs, but that doesn't detract from their enthusiasm. As a special treat this years festivities will be held as the city of Melbourne hosts one of the great sports spectacles that few Americans have ever heard of. The Commonwealth games! That's right, the Olympics for the English Commonwealth. So while everyone back state side might be enjoying the likes of Duke, UCLA, North Carolina and so on, here in Australia there will be a killer battle on the hardwood between South Africa and Barbados. Go Barbados! Follow that up with netball match between Singapore and Samoa and I am guessing the beer will be in short supply. All people welcome but must be in Australia, just send an email.
