Corndogs, Sponsored Parties, and Other News
Corndog Friends: there used to be free love, free water, free TV, and. . . . free corndogs.
We cannot thank all the party hosts enough for their enthusiasm and vigor in supporting America's fastest growing holiday, National Corndog Day.
The explosive growth to nearly 5,000 parties across the country (from 117 last year) has been extremely exciting for us -- and honestly, quite unexpected here at the NCD HQ.
Thanks to the amazing generosity of Foster Farms, we are still able to support 200 "Officially Sponsored" parties to receive party packs of corndogs. If you did not receive an email from us informing you that your party had been selected, then that unfortunately means your corndog day event will have to proceed without sponsored dogs this year.
Just as in years past, we hope that you will still celebrate this great day and host a party for family and friends. Corndog Day has always been about dogs, tots, beer, hoops, fellowship, and having a fantastically good time. We're pretty confident you don't need free corndogs to make that happen. ;)
We are also looking at different ways to involve every party. One opportunity will be the PBR Photo Contest. All party hosts are eligible, and all you have to do to participate is to submit photos of your party enjoying NCD with a PBR in hand. 5 different winners will take home $50 in cash -- enough to buy plenty of corndogs for the future. Official details will be announced on corndogday.com.
In the years ahead we will continue to develop ways to share with party hosts the glory of NCD, and to help deliver the joys of this wonderful holiday far and wide -- including wonderful and large quantities of corndogs.
The countdown is on, Get ready to corndog!!!
NCD Crew

Partys are about good
Partys are about good friends and family!Corndogs are a great American tradition. No I did not get picked. But I plan to continue to enjoy my corndogs, family and friends as planned. Thanks to the sponsers for the great idea.
Lets not forget here people. Its not about"free".Its about "freedom" to be able to do just that.Have a corndog party.Have fun.Enjoy life. Not everyone or every country can do that.
Just glad to be included
Just glad to be included on this site to have a corn dog party! This will be a fun time, even without getting corn dogs. We bought ours at the store 18 to a pack, several cases, plenty of tots & other snacks for an excellent time!!!
Congrats :)
Congrats to those who got the party pack!!
I did not get the party pack but I will have a family party anyway.
A party is always fun.
I will try again next year. Thanks :)
SHINER BOCK ...... Texan for beer
Just got the word that Shiner is sponsoring our party.
While I'm sure that there will be PBR here, Shiner will be the bell of the ball.
Thanks Shiner.....we love you ( and our livers say hi )
Just bought mine
I wasn't lucky enough to win, but I bought some Corn Dogs, some tots, and I'm gonna attempt to hand dip some dogs as well. Hopefully it turns out well.
Party!! Party!!!
I wasn't chosen this year but we planned ahead of time anyways..we bought 10 boxes!! just in case thanks for letting us know about this awesome tradition!!
Can't wait to give my first corndog/tot/beer stat..on Saturday. Party on!!
Any of you receive the package without being notified?
Wondering,
Guess my church wasn't
Guess my church wasn't selected either. For Catholics, any reason is a good reason to party! But I'll still have a party at my home with family, friends and neighbors. Thanks, guys, Foster Farms, and PBR. Maybe next year we'll get chosen!
Wasn't Selected
We were not selected,(sigh) however are still looking forward to our Corn Dog event. Thank you to Foster Farms and Pabst for being official Sponsers of this event. We are still going to have alot of fun, and there is always next year !
200 out of 5,000!!! What a Crock
Why open the opportunity to 5,000 people who signed up for a party to only get their hopes dashed by sponsoring 200!!
Foster Farms thank you for sponsoring.
(gnellie) Who ever runs this web site has no common sense. You shouldn't have let 4,800 people be disappointed..............
So You're Saying There's a Chance???
The only people who are disappointed are the people who tried to scam this site for free corndogs, only to come up empty. If you were really here to celebrate National Corndog Day, then you wouldn't care so much about not being selected an an official host. Go spend $5-$10 and get some 'dogs at your local grocery store. Unlike gas, you don't have to spend a ton of money to fill up your tank. Don't be so cheap......at least you were in the running for free 'dogs. Try again next year.
$5-$10? What kind of "party"
$5-$10? What kind of "party" is that. Try $50-$100 on corn dogs! Free would have definitely been nice.
At my local grocery store,
At my local grocery store, you can get a box of 16 corndogs for $4.99, so for $10, you can get 32 corndogs. If you can't make a party out of 32 corndogs, then perhaps you shouldn't eat corndogs......maybe have some of your cheap friends chip in and you can have a real "party".
Question Re:Packets
Just wondering if they are arriving Fed Ex/UPS/DHL/USPS. I'm antsy and wondering what truck to stalk tomorrow!
Thanks!

Big Disappointment!
Well, guess my family didn't get chosen this year...my terminally ill son would of loved it for his birthday party!
Oh brother.Now I've heard
Oh brother. Now I've heard all. If your son is terminally ill,5.00 for a box of corndogs isn't going to break the bank. What's more important, the 5.00 or your son?
Well there is no reason not to celebrate!
Go to the store and buy some corndogs and tots and celebrate NCD anyway! You don't need free corndogs to celebrate this day.Just celebrate this day to celebrate his life and the tasty crunchy coating of a juicy corndog!
Great attitude!
I am so happy to see that alot of peeps have the right attitude and will continue with their party plans! C'mon folks, a box of corndogs is about $5.00 You prolly spend more than that on whatever you're eating for dinner anyhow. If there's a will, there's a way, and lots of suggestions for ways to keep costs down. Making others feel badly because you weren't selected as "sponsored" and saying that the party will not go on is just a bummer.
Well I didn't get in on a
Well I didn't get in on a "sponsered party but he dogs, and tots will still fly here!! I'm going shopping today to pick up the essentials. Rock on CornDog lovers everywhere!!
Party Still going on here
We are still having our party and actually are expecting a bit more, going to have to make another run for more corn dogs. But thanks to NCD this is going to be a new party experience for our household, and most friends. We are going to be taking loads of pictures too. Thanks again.
So excited!!
THANK YOU Foster Farms!! I feel so very lucky to be chosen to host my FIRST ever party. It's going to be great!!
We did not win a party but
We did not win a party but we will still have fun anyway.
Corn Dogs Rock!!
I wasn't a winner either but
I wasn't a winner either but we are still going to have fun anyway.
Corndog party
I will have to make special invitations, This is tlhe first year to have a corndog party.. FUN!!!!
Thanks again to Foster Farms
Thanks again to Foster Farms for going above and beyond the call of duty once again! Also to the organizers of this fine holiday. Time to start getting in shape to get out of shape.
I was FIRST in Utah :(
I was the first one to post a hosting party for Utah! I wonder why our party wasn't chosen? I know it's not all about free stuff, but it is a nice incentive! :( Is there a chance the email is still coming? (And I was a "member" of this for the same amount of time as some others here that said they got chosen for their first party as well) Bummer! Happy NCD to everyone!
Oh well. The party goes on.
We have 60+ signed up for our home and the neighbor has 70+. We have a freezer full of dogs (300+) and tots (3000+) along with four cases of Coors Light and now have a new friend from PBR helping out with another 10 Cases! We are also in process of making two sets of Corn hole! Now all we need is a nice day as our home might be a little crowded should Mother Nature unload her usual Portland showers. This has gotten much bigger than we had anticipated but what a blast it is going to be!
Have a Happy NCD!
?
Sounds like you all will have a great time but I just have to ask what is this Corn hole you are in the process of making 2 new sets of???? I'll probably slap my forehead when I find out and go d'oh but lol at the moment my curiosity is bigger then my worry about a d'oh question! Didn't get picked this year but will party on and hope for next year!!! lol had a request for pizza as well so going to make my a roll up pizza on a stick for the one person who requested it.....hah any suggestions for making roll up pizza on a stick?????
Got my email! YAY!
My party would've gone on anyhow, I have already gotten alot of my stuff (didn't want to wait for the last minute)but I am just sooo thrilled to be included. I am disappointed that some peeps would actually consider canceling their party, guess you wouldn't have had the "corndog spirit" anyhow. I am happy for all of us who will "commune" all over the US on the 22nd in celebration! This is just too cool! Party on everyone!
always good anywhere!
Great for snacks, lunches and brunches. Kids favorite food. Always need a quick snack around the house for unexpected kids.
WOW!!!!
I feel extremely blessed!!!! Thanks for selecting me. I really wasn't expecting it. We are going to party hearty as the saying goes and thank Foster Farms for helping us out this year.
maybe next year
maybe next year
Still Party Time!
Corndogs or not...I'm still having a PARTY! Thanks to all for the opportunity! I'll be back next year to see what's up and what's new!
Oh well
I still have to space in the freezer to go buy some and we might just do like years before and ask people to bring em if they can :)
party
i would love to host a party for 10
No Drama Mamas... Got an INVITE!!!
Woo HOOOOOOOOOO We are IN!
Oh this isnt funny
I invited a bunch of people and now I dont get corndogs? I feel like crying. Guess I will have to cancel my party this year. Dang, I was hoping to get in on this and have a great party. Well, thanks anyway.
why
Why cancel your party, you still can have it, if money the issue have each of your guest bring a box also. I am afraid I deleted my e-mail if i got invited but I am still going as plan .
The parties and this site
The parties and this site aren't about FREE stuff, it's about CORNDOGS and BEER. If you were to have a BYOB and purchase the corndogs yourself you wouldn't be out that much cash. If you're canceling because you aren't getting free, it makes one wonder if you were ever really having a party. I feed my kids corndogs all the time because they are inexpensive and tasty! (That's how I know they are inexpensive)
I got an email! WHOOO
I got an email! WHOOO HOOO!!!
GO CORN DOGS, PBR BEER AND TATER TOTS!!!!
Thanks for trying!!!
I guess I wasn't one of the lucky 200, *tear*, but Ill still have my tots & corndogs. Guess I can always have my friends pitch in for some beer money though. All of you have a great Corndog Day! :)
