PBR Photo Contest WINNER!!!!
Corndog friends, corndog families,
Whilst many of you have been reveling in, and reliving the stories of
National Corndog Day 2008, we here at Corndog Central have been hard at
work. As you would know, Pabst Blue Ribbon, seized the opportunity and
became an official sponsor of NCD. Pandemonium broke out here at Corndog
Central as official word that PBR was on board spread. That excitement
quickly turned to panic when it was explained to us that we would need to be
judge and jury for the First Annual Pabst Blue Ribbon National Corndog Day
Photo Competition!
To ensure that the judging was conducted above board, we decided to hire the
Zimbabwean Electoral Commission as our probity auditor. Good to their word
the Commission was able to ensure our independence and transparency.
Seriously though, the Corndog Day crew has been in heated discussions over
who the five lucky winners should be. By employing the traditional method
of each choosing our five favorites and tallying the scores the winners have
been determined.
It is with great fan fare that on the day when the Kansas Jayhawks and
Memphis Tigers throw the ball up to determine the 2008 NCAA Division IA
National Basketball Championship, we announce the winners of the National
Corndog Day Pabst Blue Ribbon photo contest to be:
1. The LC Pabst Pyramid (submitted by stiles2503)
2. True American Symbolism (submitted by Philly)
3. I'm sticking with PBR (submitted by Suzie Corndog)
4, Hands Full - Improvise (submitted by petuniapig11)
5. Puff Paint + Pabst + Pomeranian = Gansta (submitted by dylandarling)
Special shout out to the Welcome Pabst photo but it gets the automatic
disqualification for being submitted by a blood relation to one of the
judges.
Congratulations to all the winners (your check will be mailed to you soon). Many many
more thanks to everyone that entered. We hope to make the photo competition
a tradition for many years to come and look forward to all the future years'
entries.
Thanks again to our sponsors and everyone that took part in NCD 2008, here's
hoping that the 2009 version is even better!
Corndog love to all,
Henry, Brady, and the rest of the NCD crew

Thank You for the Honor
WOW!!!
Thank you all so much for being one of the lucky five, to have my picture selected by the NCD committee. It is indeed an honor, after a great day that was spent by all at our party!
I owe alot of credit to WGN Radio's host Nick Digilio, and producer Andy Hermann, who three years ago interviewed Brady, live on air, from the main NCD party. If it was not for those two gentlemen, all of his listeners, and I would have never known about National Corn Dog Day.
So thank you Nick, and Andy! And thank you again Henry, Brady, and the rest of the NCD crew.
A mighty big Booyah to you all, and may the 2009 be an outstanding year for the Corn Dog!

Thank you so very much!!!!
This was the first of what will be a traditional party at the "Munson Ranch". Our guests, well, all of us, had so much fun with this! None of our friends had even heard of NCD before, and I think they thought we were nuts when they were invited! But we had such a great time!!! Thank you for selecting our picture! We actually were enjoying our festivities so much we forgot to take very many! LOL But next year...watch out, we will be much more organized! But you know what? Maybe NCD is more about the spontaneity of the moment! Enjoying the company of friends, doing what you do best: drinkin' a few PBRs, enjoying some good food (not worrying about carbs, trans fats or anything else, just what tastes GOOD) and NCAA!!! Thanks guys, I will be back next year, along with my friends and family......and anyone else who'll listen! You guys ROCK!!!!!
PS GO Kansas!!!
Thanks to all.
I just want to say thanks to all who came to my party and those who stuck it out for the picture. I also want to thank all who voted for our picture. Without your votes none of this would have been possible. And last I would like to thank PBR for brewing a tasty beer and again for their interest in National Corndog Day.
Thanks again,
Jason
Post Script: I think tonight is going to be a corndog night to celebrate!
