WGN Radio audio

Hey Corndoggers:

I've archived the audio from the National Corndog Day segment with Nick Digilio on WGN Radio.

Brady and Jen and Andy sounded great!

next caller: Andy in New Albany, IN

Yes Andy this is the radio show you called. You did a great job representing the achievers across the country participating last night.

My memory is foggy

Hey bun, is this radio show you had me call last night? I don't remember much about it.

Falling Off Deck Contest

Okay, that guy at Brady's fell off the deck live on the radio. Everybody who has fallen off something in the middle of a triple double should post it here and let Nick report the final tally. We should have a pool.

Microwave Dogs

Nick,

We're back from Dominick's. We have two kinds of corndogs --- some that say it's okay to microwave and others that just give oven instructions. I have the feeling that microwaving is cheating, but I've got to get up on your three dogs so we can race to the triple-double by midnight. Come on, you can do it. There's all sorts of other people talking all the time. You can wolf down some dogs and tots - especially if you wash it down with a little brewsky - during those breaks. Make us Chicagoans proud -- it sounds like they're listening to you all over the country. Show those west coasters that they know nothing about over-eating!

I'll race ya Nick!

I just tuned in and I'm taking a cab to Dominick's to get some corndogs and tots. My neighbors are coming over and we're going to race you Nick. We've already got green beer flowin'

Plochmans mustard is the

Plochmans mustard is the best condiment to use on a corn dog. In fact, at this moment I have nick D on the radio, mustard and two corndogs in the broiler...

Corndogs Rule!!!

Nick is just getting started. He's kinda like the Cubbies. There gonna go far this year. But mabey he will get the tripple-doubble. You never know.

Slackers always have excuses!

Nick,

You rock for spreadin' the corndog word, but we won't be satisfied listeners and rabid Digilio fans until we hear your mouth full of dog and delicious corn-coating! Come on, Nick!

eat up Nick

Micky Morandini could eat his weight in corndogs!

Please pass the mustard!

My mouth is watering .... mustard, corndogs and tatertots! Be still my heart!

Splitting up the Corndogs?

Nick Digilio is splitting up the corndogs??? He's only had 3 himself -- does he not understand how this works???

Nick Digilio

Nick Digilio is on the air at this moment, so he can't eat a corn dog while one the air. Through he could have one during a commerical break, or when the news is on. And plus he only found out about it last year. But he says he will have more, but I bet not with ketchup before the night is over.

tuning in Indiana

We are right by Chicago and we're listening to wgn radio. Someone just fell off the deck???

The Father of Corndog Day

It just occurred to me while listening that the mighty Stan is the "Father of Corndog Day!"

Loud and Clear

Brady's coming thru 5 x 5 in Maryland. Great plug for Foster Farms.

The neighbor's car

Can't wait to hear Brady and the corndoggers in the windy city. Figure we should all be right around the throw-up stage by that time -- so Brady, good luck saying "meat on a stick" at least one more time than during last year's broadcast!
